I’ve always been obsessed with lingerie. The way the right piece can transform how you feel, not just how you look. I spent ten years running my own lingerie label, Amber & Indigo, creating beautiful designs that were stocked in Australia and internationally. There were hours spent in the studio creating beautiful designs, perfecting fit and manufacturing pieces by hand. It was a labour of love and I kept at it for many years, even when I knew the label would not be financially successful.

When the label closed, I realised the real treasure wasn’t in selling lingerie, it was in the knowledge I’d gained. Every pattern tweak, every fabric hack, every fit trick became something I could pass on. That’s how Alter Ego Patterns was born. Now, I share digital sewing patterns that let you bring your own creations to life.
